SAUSAGE & CHEESE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE
This one is a Murphy Household favorite! Chances are if you ever come spend a weekend with us, we will make you this casserole. All of Josh’s guy friends love it. Definitely a winner!
– 2 packages of breakfast sausage (which ever is your favorite! Spicy, mild, turkey, etc.)
– 2 cans of crescent rolls
– 1 8oz container of cream cheese
– 1 8oz bag of shredded sharp cheddar
Set your oven to 375. Then brown your breakfast sausage.
Next you’ll mix your browned breakfast sausage together with your softened cream cheese. If you forget to pull out your cream cheese just put it in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds before mixing in the sausage.
Next, grease a 13×9 pyrex, and open up 1 can of crescent roll. Lay in pan and pinch edged together to close all the seams. Press out to cover then entire bottom of pan.
Then add your sausage and cream cheese mixture and spread evenly.
Next up is the cheeeeeesssseeee!!!! Evenly distribute the entire bag! (oh yea)
Then is probably the trickiest part, your going to add your 2nd can of crescent roll, the same way you did the bottom layer. Pinch seems and spread to cover the top of your casserole.
Bake in your preheated oven for 15- 20 minutes or until golden brown!
We serve this with scrambled eggs, bacon, and fresh fruit! Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!! 🙂
